I took inspiration from the outfit in the middle (top row) because the sweater and the boots with those pom poms are really adorable on Velocity! ^^
Little Blue the Fashionista by Needle-Mouse

The first thing I thought about that outfit was...home, in front of a cozy crackling fire in the fireplace and an hot, tasty, creamy chocolate... meanwhile, outside...rain and cold!
I admit I had to use some reference for the ambientation xD I took inspiration from my holiday home (and drawing this made me want to go there, but it's still hot here xD)

I'm not the best artist around, I make mistakes and I want to improve, so a good critique is very welcome and helpful. 1-Word comment are NOT helpful and a Fav 'n Run is more welcome than that kind of comment.

It's a very well chosen outfit for this picture and scenery ^^ , the thoughts you had about the outfit are really well and it fits all very well I think.
Inspiration from a holiday is always a good thing. None likes the heat yaaay <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/d/d…" width="21" height="15" alt=":dummy:" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="574" title="I am a dummy!"/> But when it snows everyone says they hate cold. Tough I am not like that. None can be perfect martzy.

Vision:
It looks like a charming warm pic where the character is able to show her sweet personality and some calm and sweet side of herself (and her love of chocolate milk and a fireplace)
it's very well drawn too and is wonderfully detailed , everything matches very well together

Originality:
Although it's really well drawn and such , it keeps being a scenery being made alot times before in drawings and ideas. As well the fact you took inspiration of a picture where she already had this clothes makes it a little less original but thats fine! Nothing is wrong with that at all , many artists take inspiration from that.
As well the fact you made this in cartoon style gives it something different, cause this isn't drawn many times in this cartoonish style. The shading style is original too and is truly something to recognize it's made by you, which is something hard for every artist/drawer or anyone like that to do.
The character itself looks original in your style too but still recogniseable as who she was.

Technique:
I really adore the originality of your style like I said before , but I repeat myself many times to pressure it. As well the shading is everywhere very well placed in the picture. Even as the fire light effect gives it a warm embrace and is not misplaced either , so do the small fire lines on the character. It gives the picture a warm feeling and that's what is probally ment as well. Warmth in the cold times . So as well with the small bit of smoke above the hot chocolate which pressures the warm feeling of the picture itself.
the pose is very well made too and the legs might look long , but I used a redline to look if they were in the length they should and it's pretty much how it should be. As well this is part of your style , so it's not a big bother. further the perspective in the picture seems to be not exactly perfect but that's especially fine too. The lineart is very well suiting with the shading and looks clean as well the coloring looks wonderfull , as well the background and the character match perfectly together. The fire looks very well made too and even kinda realistic ~
(tough I see you forget a bit of the eye lashes on the left side)

Impact:
- Love the fact it's winter like (because I still love winter too much and miss it )
- very well drawn
- it's giving a kind of warm feeling at the person who views it
- the character looks elegant and happy
- all shading is everywhere well placed

it's mostly giving a warm and happy feeling trough everyone who looks at it and gives the character rights to come out.

(know some parts are just my opinion and you don't have to take everything from my critique)
